C | 陈时中当天受访时也为此事道歉。“没想到类似案例不只一桩”，中时新闻网称，王定宇被人发现，近日发布的胡椒虾照片也是盗用照片，原本他称自己有注明出处，并称该照片是西海岸活虾之家的商业广告照片，经和店家确认过后对方表示同意王定宇引用，不过却被打脸，该照片应是过去游客前往消费所拍摄，而非店家的照片。另外还有人发现，王定宇过去发布为儿子准备泡面、鱼丸汤等的照片也是盗用，甚至早在2021年就盗用台南旅游单位拍摄的咸酥鸡照片。对此，王定宇13日晚在脸书粉丝专页道歉，承认过去部分美食贴图确实引自网络、或是店家网页网友上传，取自他人图像确实不妥，除了致歉外，也会删除未经授权贴图，胡椒虾图片是消费者上传，他也将删除、致歉，“未来也将更审慎使用各式图像”。中时新闻网注意到，王定宇的道歉，网友并不买单，有人质疑，“到底是有什么障碍，自己拍很难吗？”“他连打卡位置都是假的了，还有啥是真的”。在王宇宇的脸书评论区，还有人留言讽刺，“所以到底有没有去吃虾？”“太让我失望了，怎么没有硬拗（找借口和理由、生拉硬扯）到底呢？这不是一贯的风格啊。”也有网友留言，“翻车啰……”“蹭热度蹭到翻车，好虾。”还有人表示是“来看翻车现场”。
